Key Benefits of RewardTax.Com
No other law firm provides all of the following benefits and advantages to whistleblowers of Tax Fraud, Tax Evasion, or other underpayment of Tax:
All Tax Whistleblower Claims submitted by the Tax Whistleblower Law Firm are submitted by attorneys that formerly worked for the Internal Revenue Service - Office of Chief Counsel. The Office of Chief Counsel is the legal counsel to the IRS, and it provides legal advice to the IRS and its Revenue Agents (those individuals who audit tax returns). In addition, the Office of Chief Counsel represents the IRS in trials before the U.S. Tax Court. As former legal counsel for the IRS, the attorneys of the Tax Whistleblower Law Firm, LLC have been responsible for hundreds of cases before the U.S. Tax Court and have numerous published opinions in cases for which they were responsible at trial. While employed by the IRS, our firm's attorneys taught continuing education classes to other IRS attorneys and IRS Revenue Agents with respect to IRS procedure and tax law.
The attorneys at our law firm with whom you will be working are familiar with and have superior knowledge of IRS files, practices, procedures, and organization. Our job, as tax attorneys representing clients before the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program, is
1. to have your case accepted by the IRS into the program, and
2. to increase the potential reward from the minimum of 15% of the amount ultimately collected to the maximum reward of 30%.
This is accomplished, as may be necessary, by gathering the facts, providing an audit plan, drafting IDRs (information document requests), identifying witnesses, writing legal tax memoranda similar to what the IRS would receive from the Office of Chief Counsel, and developing the case as we would have developed the case if we were taking the case to trial on behalf of the IRS.
As former attorneys of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, we are so confident that we will take steps to protect your identity from inadvertent disclosure and will guarantee your confidentiality. The guarantee is in writing and is part of the Contract that we will sign with you. The guarantee states that any fees to which the law firm may be entitled will be forfeited if your identity is inadvertently disclosed by any personnel of either our law firm or the IRS. Our law firm utilizes Steps of Protection that will be followed to protect your identity, and we have suggestions of steps for you to follow to protect your identity. We have confidence in our abilities, the IRS, and the IRS Tax Whistleblower Program.
There are many attorneys who represent individuals in many types of whistleblower cases other than tax. These attorneys usually do not have experience working with the Internal Revenue Code or with the IRS. These attorneys are called "qui tam" attorneys, which simply means that they represent clients in Government fraud matters. Qui Tam is the procedure where one sues on behalf of the U.S. Government. This is different from the procedure in a tax whistleblower case. Our law firm does only tax whistleblower cases, and, therefore, we have greater expertise in tax whistleblower cases than our competitors. Our attorneys are former IRS attorneys and are 100% dedicated to cases involving the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program. Our focused tax practice allows our attorneys to accumulate superior knowledge regarding the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program that will directly benefit you.
The former IRS attorneys at our firm represent clients participating in the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program on a nationwide basis. Our attorneys will travel to meet with tax whistleblower clients at a confidential location convenient to the client. Our firm believes that every potential client should have the opportunity to meet personally with our attorneys at the beginning of the process so the client can be comfortable and assured both personally and professionally.
The Tax Whistleblower Law Firm, LLC is centrally located in St. Louis, Missouri. Therefore, person-to-person meetings can occur quickly because the St. Louis International Airport is within four hours' flying time to all major cities throughout the continental United States.
Your case will be handled by one of our former IRS attorneys who has previously handled hundreds of tax cases for the IRS. Your telephone calls and emails will go directly to our attorneys. Our attorneys are responsible for presenting your case to the IRS, using the best methods and procedures to assure acceptance by the IRS and to maximize your reward. We strive to achieve the highest reward of 30% of the underreported tax (rather than the statutory minimum of 15%).
We do not get paid until you get paid. If the IRS does not accept your case or is unsuccessful in recovering the unreported tax, there will be no fee for our time or reimbursement of any expenses that we may have incurred. Our fee is a percentage of the reward money that you will receive from the IRS, after the IRS accepts your case and the IRS recovers unreported tax.
We are confident in our ability to get you the maximum reward under the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program. Therefore, since the law allows for the award determined by the IRS to be challenged in the U.S. Tax Court, we are willing to appeal the determination upon our client's request at no additional cost. Under the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program (I.R.C. §7623(b)), you are guaranteed a minimum reward of 15% of the amount recovered by the IRS (including tax penalties and interest) as a result of the information you provided. However, you may be entitled to a maximum reward of up to 30%, depending on, among other things, how well the case is presented to the IRS (the presentation is dependent on the law firm you choose). If the IRS determines that you are entitled to less than the maximum reward, the law (I.R.C. §7623(b)(4)) provides that you may challenge the reward amount, as determined by the IRS, in the U.S. Tax Court. Thus, if you are dissatisfied with the reward as determined by the IRS, we will appeal the amount of the reward to the U.S. Tax Court for no additional fee.
We provide compensation to all referring attorneys, accountants, and other professionals as allowed by the state association guidelines for referrals. We are more than willing to work with professionals to assist in putting the tax whistleblower case together, including gathering the facts and researching the law as might be necessary in order to present the best package to the IRS under the Tax Whistleblower Reward Program.
